The Hopeful Program is Okemo’s introductory race program for ages 7-12.  Many athletes go on to other programs including U10/U12’s, Devo PG and Freestyle after completing the Hopefuls Program.  With an emphasis on skill development, the Hopeful athletes enjoy a variety of drill work, lots of free skiing and some gate training.  Each child selects a team at the beginning of the season and will ski with that team every Saturday; each team has three coaches.  We have 5 races during the winter, all at Okemo, and team competition is fierce!
